On February 2, 2025, Andrej Karpathy posted a tweet. "Vibe coding," he called it — the practice of describing what you want in natural language and letting AI execute. "Fully give in to the vibes, embrace exponentials, and forget that the code even exists."
Two days later, Jim Pino (IMAJIM) extended the observation: every creative discipline was going through the same transformation. Not just coding. Design. Music. Film. Advertising. Writing. Research. Sales. Strategy. In each one, the same pattern was emerging: describe the intent, the AI executes, the human directs.
That pattern needed a name. Vibe Creating.
Vibe Creating is the meta-framework for the era where human creative direction scales through AI execution.
It is not another vibe-X. It is the category that contains all of them. Vibe Coding is Vibe Creating software. Vibe Designing is Vibe Creating visual systems. Vibe Marketing is Vibe Creating campaigns. The formula is constant across disciplines: vision + language + taste → AI → output.
What changes between disciplines is the domain knowledge, the cultural intelligence, and the judgment about what good looks like. That judgment is not something AI produces. It operates from it.
The technical barrier dissolved.

That's the entire shift.
